MECAPLUS: 2 Bridge cranes 6.3 t

One of our latest projects was carried out at the Mecaplus plant in Huesca, where we designed and commissioned two single-girder overhead cranes with wire rope hoists, capable of meeting the high demands for load capacity and safety required in their industrial activity.
Mecaplus is a benchmark company in the industrial sector in Huesca, specializing in highly demanding manufacturing processes. Their main requirement was to incorporate robust, safe lifting equipment adapted to large loads and workspaces, enabling the handling of heavy parts within their facility.
The main challenges of this project were:
High load capacity: the equipment needed to handle up to 6,300 kg with complete safety during lifting operations.
Large working spaces: it was necessary to install long-span cranes (34 m and 29 m) to cover the entire work area.
Structural optimization: the client required a pillar-free solution that would not interfere with production areas and would maintain free space for maneuvering and circulation.
The solution designed by Vinca
After analyzing Mecaplus’ needs, we designed a solution based on two single-girder overhead cranes with a 6,300 kg capacity, equipped with SWF Nova wire rope hoists, renowned for their reliability and performance in demanding industrial environments.
Overhead cranes: 34 m and 29 m in length
The installed cranes feature a 15.5 m span. Their key features include:
6,300 kg load capacity, ensuring safe handling of heavy parts and materials.
SWF Nova wire rope hoist, providing precision, reliability, and durability in operation.
Enclosed conductor system (protected electrification), ensuring reliable power supply free of interference, even under intensive use.
Radio remote control with 6 push buttons, offering ergonomic, safe operation with full freedom of movement.
Integrated acoustic and visual alarms, enhancing safety in the work area by signaling crane movements.
Customization with the client’s logo
A distinctive detail of this project was the incorporation of the Mecaplus logo on the overhead cranes, an additional service we offer our clients. This not only reinforces corporate identity but also conveys professionalism and adds visual value to the industrial environment.
