Manual Vehicle Restraint
Ref. 72.4
The MEWL 1310 manual wheel chock is an ergonomic manual immobilizer for industrial vehicles, designed to prevent accidental truck departures and unwanted trailer movement during loading and unloading operations.
Truck locking system operation
The MEWL 1310 – Ergonomic Manual Wheel-Lok is a mechanical locking system that secures the truck at the dock using a steel arm.
- STEP 1: Once the vehicle is positioned, the driver or loading personnel places the sliding cart in front of the wheel and operates the tiller. The arm automatically moves forward until it blocks the tire and prevents any trailer movement.
- STEP 2: Unlocking can only be done from the control panel located inside the building, ensuring maximum safety.
Advantages of the MEWL 1310 vehicle immobilizer
