18.2 Single Girder Crane GAPTEK

Equipment: Set of several Single Girder Crane 1t, 2t, 5t and 7.5t and 1t motorized jib cranes for airplane motor engine maintenance.

The bridge cranes and the jib cranes are intended for the maintenance of aviation engines for the OCCAR.

The equipment is designed for a precise assembly , so it is equipped with NOVA hoists and type A engines of the latest generation manufactured by SWF Krantechnik. This technology for hoists allows to lift the loads at very slow speeds for delivate and precise assemblies and to accelerate to the maximum speed in movements without load, and all this is possible with electrical consumptions of 50% with respect to traditional 2-speed motors.

GAPTEK & Acciona Construction has builded the engine maintenance workshop successfully in a short time and in compliance with the established deadlines and VINCA has been part of this successful project.

The new facilities where the VINCA Bridge Cranes and Jibs cranes have been installed consist of 4,300 square meters surface.
