Thanks to the implementation of state-of-the-art PLCs, technical support no longer depends exclusively on the physical presence of an operator, allowing real-time diagnostics from any location.

How does remote support work on an industrial goods lift?

Remote connectivity is established through a secure communication module integrated into the lift’s electrical control panel. This system allows our engineers to access the machine’s “brain” to perform various tasks:

  1. Real-time error diagnosis

Using the management software, error messages and the status of all safety sensors can be viewed, including door interlocks, SAC system, pressure switches and other components. This makes it possible to determine whether a stoppage is caused by an actual mechanical failure or incorrect operation, such as a door that has not been properly closed.

  1. Software parameterisation and adjustments

Plant requirements often change. With remote access, acceleration ramps, waiting times or levelling settings can be adjusted without the need to send a technician to the site, instantly optimising the performance of the hydraulic goods lift.

  1. Data-based preventive maintenance

The system records the history of operations and work cycles. This makes it possible to schedule inspections according to the actual use of the equipment rather than solely based on time intervals, ensuring that critical components such as piston seals or traction cables are inspected when necessary.

Is the remote connection secure against cyberattacks?
Yes. The connection is established through encrypted VPN tunnels and industrial security protocols, such as Siemens standards, ensuring that only authorised VINCA personnel can access the equipment configuration.
Can I limit access?
Yes. The equipment is fitted with a button for external connection. The connection between the plant and VINCA can only be established after authorisation from the installed goods lift.
What infrastructure does my company need for remote support?
No special infrastructure is required. The only requirement is mobile network coverage, as the connection is established through a SIM card.
Does remote support replace mandatory inspections?
No. Mandatory periodic inspections, in accordance with Royal Decree 1215/1997, must still be carried out in person to verify the physical condition of mechanical components, cables and structures. Remote support is a complementary service designed to improve equipment availability and enable faster diagnostics.
